95 Weeks

Hey BooBoo
How old? 21 Months 27 Days
Weight: 30-ish lbs
Sleep: PeaPod FAIL.  We had such high hopes and good intentions with the PeaPod, but alas I think it is just too early for little Linc to really get it.  We will keep trying and set it back up in his little reading nook in his room to keep trying to get him used to it, but it will not travel with us for the time being.  So while in CLE Linc slept with us the first two nights and by the third night we got a pack-n-play and he rested comfortably in there for the night and never did try to climb out.
We also discovered on this trip it is now time for Linc to get a pillow of his very own, he LOVES pillows, so now I need to find sometime to go find him one...
Food:  Linc stuffed his face with matzah ball soup, brisket, cabbage rolls, and yes a little bit of cupcake.  All in all he ate verrrrryyyy well all weekend.
Best Moment This Week:  We had a fantastic trip, the best really.

We love visiting with our family and Linc LOVES playing with all his cousins!  There was lots of running & giggling & hugging going on when the kiddos were all together.  Linc had fun seeing his Grammy, Grandma & Grandpa & all this Aunts & Uncles too.  He had a blast playing with Aunt Taryn & Uncle Andy Sunday afternoon before we left town.

We also got to attend a super scary Halloween Party at Andy & Taryn's house.  It was amazing, the time and creativity that they put into this party is just awesome.  Everything was perfect & oh so SCARY!
We were not very scary

Todd & I took Lincoln to the Cleveland Children's Museum.  Linc's favorite parts were the vehicles he got to play in.  He liked pretending he was the driver on an RTA bus, but I think he shouldn't get his licence yet since it looks like he ran over Daddy...
We also went trick or treating with our friends The G's and Linc's buddy Miss J.  We took them to the local mall for their trick or treating fix, and they did really well.  Miss J was a natural and Linc followed her lead.  They did stop for an impromptu dance party at the Sprint store where they were blasting Thriller....so funny!

Worst Moment This Week:  ...
What We're Looking Forward To:
Belated 30th bday trip with Cyn - Heading to Mexico for some fun & sun!!!!  Be back next week...hopefully with a tan!
Few more trips to the Reston Zoo before they close in November
Booked our tickets for our annual Chicago trip in November
Booked our tickets for our Indiana trip in December
Movement:  Yep. Lots.
Milestones: How routines help; Try establishing – and sticking to – set times for napping, eating, and going to bed. A regular schedule helps your child feel more secure and in control. She can't tell time yet, so it also gives her a sense of what's coming next.
Routines make your life easier too – and not only because they simplify day-to-day planning. If your child knows what to expect every day, you'll probably encounter less resistance.
You don't have to be rigid. What's most important is that things happen in pretty much the same order at more or less the same time each day. Weekend bedtimes and morning wakeups that are roughly the same as on weekdays help keep the routine on track.
