Ti6TO: Hey There Ho There

Hi!  When last I left off we were coming off of a good date night high.  Things are still going quite swimmingly.  Work is good & busy for T & I.  The kiddos are doing great in school.  Lincoln is writing full sentences and his handwriting has improved beyond his fathers.  He colors in the lines now and is quite the artist when it comes to the American flag, dragons, and sunsets.  Delilah is obsessed with applesauce, baby dolls, and the song Wagon Wheel.  She has become our little dancer and can really shake her tail feather, we are hoping to get her into some classes this winter so we'll see where that goes.  But the long and the short of it is we are doing good, busy but lovin' it (I feel as though that is our family motto).

We had a super fun visit with the Grandmas who road tripped here.  They cooked and cleaned and braved the mall with both kids and they all showed up back home in one piece & with pictures and build a bears to show for it!
Sorry, try as I might I cannot get this to turn.

Halloween was awesome in the new hood.  Such a blast!  Willowsford is a happen' place on Oct 31st.

We set out for candy and the adults scored plenty of beverages and treats too.  The Wiches of Willowsford maned a table in front of our house so we could head out for our tricks and treats with the neighboring kid crews.

We celebrated my birthday.  Had a few more date nights, this is most definitely a record for us...

Met up with the Carmeans in Baltimore for a little Aquarium fun.  Our little Sharkies just had a blast!

Partied our selves silly at Monkey Joes and the National Zoo for some of Linc's best buds bdays!

We made a day of it at the DC Zoo, because well, why not walk up and down a hill a few times.  But really it was worth it with the great weather (esp for November) and the animals were more than happy to be out and about.

Next thing you know it is Thanksgiving (WHAT?)!  It was another Friendsgiving with the Aldersons and the Carmeans.  So much great food and fun times.  I mean who doesn't enjoy a 80/90 rap party once the kids are (mostly) asleep.

And now it is December.  We are 10 days from the start of Hanukkah, 19 days from Christmas, getting closer and closer to NYE which we are hosting this year (disco ball & dance floor in the empty dinning room, anyone? anyone?) and then Isaacs kiddo BIRTHDAYS!  Whew.  Anyone else feel like they need a nap?
