We met with Ms. C last week for the year end parent/teacher conference. They do summer camp during the summer months, so they are outdoors more, wear camp shirts, go on more "field trips", and they have different themes that change biweekly instead of monthly. And he will still have Ms. C as a teacher but some of the kids in his class will change because some will leave during the summer. It will be good changes for Lincoln, and it will be a fun summer for him.
Anyway, here is the wrap up of what Lincoln has done so far his first year of Preschool.
- Takes care of his own needs. Puts on his own socks, shoes, & coat. Goes to the bathroom on his own. *He also gets dressed on his own several mornings during the week. Leads to some interesting outfit/sock combos...you can tell he is his father's child.
- Good with sharing toys and waiting for others to share with him.
- Displays confidence. "Lincoln shares his thoughts and ideas during story time, music, lunch, and snack time." Not shy about being heard.
- Demonstrates self direction & Independence.
- Holds scissors correctly and can cut lines by himself and a circle with a little help
- Can write letters in name with some help with "n"s.
