Friday I had a relaxing night of wine drinking and girl time with Cyndi - much needed and much appreciated.
Saturday Linc and I headed out for Tot Shabbat and had a grand time marching around with the Torah and singing all the songs. Lincoln wanted to take his guitar with him so he could be just like Ms. Nell! After that we decided to hit up Trader Joe's for some essentials, must have at least one box of Roasted Red Pepper & Tomato soup in our pantry at all times! SO GOOD!
That afternoon it was time for a little Daddy Daycare while Cyndi and I headed down to Springfield for our hair appointments with the best stylist ever, she'd have to be to get us to drive 40min to see her, right? So while we were getting our hair did, all the boys decided they were going to take a walk and Lincoln really enjoyed showing Tyler & Zach all the sticks and leaves he came across, well mostly Tyler.
Sunday was Gymboree, this weeks imaginary play focused on tree houses.
After all that fun we decided to run a few errands and have brunch at Mimi's one of our fave breakfast/brunch spots. Then it was time to go home and set up our brand new Keurig machine. We are super excited to step into this new world of coffee brewing. And thanks for Andy & T for giving us the reason to take that jump. It is awesome btw.
We found out that Lincoln has learned to sing a new song, Baa Baa Black Sheep. Here is a sampling for your listening enjoyment.
Linc also got a little carried away with my iphone and credit card the other day and I think he was this close to ordering me a Mother's Day gift. Gotta keep our eyes on this crafty one...I promise you this was not a staged photo.
We are super excited to have Grandma, Uncle Nadu, & Auntie T in for a quick visit! We even have a spur of the moment mini adventure planned for Sat-Sun, exciting! We will report back here at the same i6 time same i6 channel next week on all our fun & shenanigans.
