We got some sad news that our Grandma Florence had passed away and we wanted to make it into town for her funeral. So in less than 4 hours we packed up, ate dinner and got on the road. Even though we do not live super close I am thankful it is a doable drive. We were glad we were able to be with our family during that difficult time and celebrate the life of a truly wonderful and strong woman! We will miss you Grandma Florence.
So while the circumstances were solemn it was a chance for the extended family in C-land to meet Delilah for the first time. And well, that cute little shayna punim was definitely good at lifting the mood a bit. She was just a doll being passed from here to there. And Lincoln of course had the best time with his grandparents, aunts & uncles, and his cousins!
